Prohibited Items for Shipping

Global Pack Ship serves to make it easier for our customers to connect to other people no matter they may be but, unfortunately, there are still some restrictions and prohibitions that we have to follow. We are pretty sure you have some questions on what you can and cannot ship. For your convenience, we have provided a list of different examples of the prohibited items. Remember that prohibited items cannot be shipped at all. Read more about them below.

  1. Ammunition
  2. Explosives
  3. Gasoline
  4. Corpses
  5. Fireworks
  6. Hazardous waste
  7. Industrial Diamonds
  8. Ivory
  9. Prohibited Drugs
  10. Postage Stamps

It is our responsibility to comply with current government regulations or laws applicable in each country. Shipments are subject to inspection and possible delay by customs or representatives of other government authorities. Global Pack Ship will also not transport any goods which are prohibited by law or regulation of any federal, state, or local government in the origin or destination countries or which may breach any applicable export, import, or other laws or endanger any of our employees.

Consequences

A couple of things can happen when prohibited items are discovered in your shipment. However, it may be different for each courier service as they have their own rules and regulations to follow. Common scenarios would likely to happen:

  • The prohibited item is removed by the courier but continues the shipping process
  • The prohibited item is confiscated by the courier service and likely to be destroyed
  • The entire parcel is returned to the sender
  • The shipping service can also charge the sender if other parcels are damaged because of the prohibited item.
